Everyone has done something that, at the moment, kind of shocked them but, upon further review, just straight up embarrassed them. Things like falling into a room while carrying your lunch, only to realize that the room is full of people. Or making out with an ugly chick at a party only to realize that the whole affair got caught on someone’s Snapchat story. That’s pretty much exactly what happened to Reds’ player Eugenio Suarez when he caught a ball, didn’t realize he caught it and, thus, completely beefed the play.

Due to Suarez’s error, Prince Fielder’s hit resulted in a single that, a few plays later, turned into a run. Listen, this is pretty embarrassing, but we’ve all been there. At first, the guy just assumed he missed the ball, which is embarrassing, but it happens. Catching the ball after and blowing the play after you think you already embarrassed yourself, that’s even worse. Plus, you know, the whole ‘in a stadium in front of thousands of fans’ part of it all. That’s the part there may be no coming back from.
