European Tour Golfer Attacked by Hornets During Tournament, Jumps in Lake to Escape Them
Well, you don’t see this every day. Or ever.
European Tour golfer, Pablo Larrazabal, got attacked by hornets during his second round of the Maybank Malaysian open. After trying to fend them off with his golf towel and getting stung 20 times, Larrazabal finally caved — 20 hornet stings might do that to a man — and jumped in the goddamn lake to escape them. Sheesh.
Things weren’t all bad for Larrazabal, though. He fired a second round 68 and will be around for the (hopefully horney-free) weekend.
Oh, and he’s going to live.
In my room resting after a long and tough day out there… Head still in pain but i will be 100% and ready tomorrow to go for a low one…
