First off, can we just talk for a moment about the fact that Floyd Mayweather says he got paid $3 million to visit China this week before we address his $25 million mansion being robbed? I… just… what? Why? 3 million? To do what? Sigh…

Here’s what Floyd had to say on Instagram about the trip, including how his money is completely different from ours…

Here in Beijing, China at “The Great Wall Of China”, considered to be one of the greatest Wonders of The World! It’s always been on my list of places to see throughout my travels in life however, timing is everything. Coming here with 23 people has been a great experience and it doesn’t hurt to get paid $3,000,000. to simply visit and vacation here in luxury for a few days. With money this long, everything is different. I move different, I dress different and I live different because my money is extremely different!

Again I ask… what? Why? The world today is so confusing.

Anyway, perhaps Mayweather shouldn’t have alerted the entire world that he was out of the country because it seems that some bad people were paying very close attention and broke into his mansion to make off with some of his property, reports TMZ.

According to law enforcement … the staffer found a bunch of stuff was missing, including luggage, sunglasses and other accessories.

That might not sound like much, but this is “Money” Mayweather’s place. We’re told the minimum value of the stolen property is at least $10k, and likely more than that. They’re still taking inventory.

TMZ also reports that Mayweather’s robbery is just the latest in a string of celebrities to have their homes burglarized including Jason Derulo, Yasiel Puig, Mariah Carey, Alanis Morissette, Demi Lovato, Drake, and Nicki Minaj.

Their sources also said that Mayweather’s mansion, as one would expect, has a state-of-the-art alarm system. As to whether it was actually turned on, or if this appears to be some kind of inside job, has yet to be disclosed.

On the plus side, at least he still has his sweet paintings, his wine and his candy stash…
