Boxing Fanatics Are Calling This Perfect Punch The Best Knockout Of The Year

Just 41-seconds into a Premier Boxing Champions fight scheduled for ten rounds, Gabriel Bracero caught an unsuspecting Danny O’Connor with a brutal right cross to the chin, sending O’Connor barreling down to the canvas in Lowell, Massachusetts.

People are already calling it the “Knockout of the Year” and it’s pretty easy to see why.

Danny O’Connor was hoping this fight would be some redemption against Bracero who bested him previously, but clearly, it wasn’t in the cards on Saturday night.

Bracero was ecstatic about the hard work he put in paying off in the form of one of the most viscous knockouts boxing enthusiasts have seen in a long time.

“As far as the feeling, it’s an amazing feeling,” said an emotional Bracero. “My message to Danny was after my last loss [to an undefeated Felix Diaz], I went into a depression and I told him to pick himself back up and go home and be proud of himself. I didn’t want the same thing happening to him that happened to me. I worked on that punch in the gym. Because he’s a southpaw, so I had to keep my left leg outside of his right leg. It was just stepping over to the left and swinging with all my might. God bless Danny. God has blessed me with a second chance in life.”

Safe to say O’Connor still has a bit of a headache this morning.
