BRO MOVE: 6-Year-Old Golfer Raised $40,000 For Buddy Who Died Of Cancer, And I’ve Had My Cry For The Day

If there’s one thing that I absolutely hate more than anything on this planet, it’s pediatric cancer.

Don’t get me wrong, any form of cancer is awful—kid, adult or pet—as it’s affected each and every one of us. But when a kid is diagnosed with a certain type of the disease, it’s just heartbreaking, as they’re supposed to be running around and, well, acting like kids!

One little bro who seems to share my hatred for the disease is Ryan McGuire, a six-year-old who is absolutely obsessed with the game of golf.

While Ryan may have to wait a few years to try and obtain his PGA Tour Card, that didn’t stop the ambitious kid from making a giant impact by using the game he loves so much.

After Ryan’s best friend, Danny Nickerson, passed away from cancer earlier this year, McGuire wanted to honor his good buddy by playing 100 holes of golf in one day, hoping to raise $5,000 for cancer research.

Once word got out about the fundraiser, though—which included BroBible hearing about it—that five-grand goal was about to be shattered, as Ryan actually raised $40,000 for cancer research, proving that he’s one, good friend to Danny.

As someone who raised and donated over $15,000 himself through a running program a couple years ago, I’ve got nothing put respect for Ryan. Here’s to me buying you a couple beers when you’re 21, kid, you’ve earned it with this bro move.
