Ex-Cowboy Greg Hardy Indicted On Felony Cocaine Possession, Faces Two Years In Jail

Former Cowboys DE Greg Hardy just can’t keep himself out of trouble. After being found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend in 2014, the former Cowboy was just arrested for cocaine possession. He is now facing felony charges and the possibility of two years in jail, according to a report by USA Today:

A Richardson (Tex.) Municipal Court judge issued the indictment related to Hardy’s September arrest. A search of his vehicle turned up a “purple plastic baggie containing a white pasty substance,” according to the court documents.

The estimated weight of the cocaine was 0.7 grams. Under Texas state law, the former Dallas Cowboysand Carolina Panthers pass rusher faces a jail term of at least 180 days — up to two years — as well as a $10,000 fine.

Hardy allowed an officer to search his car after the traffic stop. Along with the cocaine, the search also turned up marijuana remnants as well as a Topgolf membership card with his name was listed as “Overlord Hardy Jr.” and multiple gun range membership cards.

I’ll give him a pass for the “Overlord Hardy Jr” at Top Golf. Much like bowling, if you’re using your real time at Top Golf, you’re Top Golf-ing wrong.
