There’s Nothing Funny About HaHa Clinton-Dix’s Incredible Interception for Alabama

by 5 years ago

Nick Saban led the Crimson Tide to its third national championship in four years as the boys from the South crushed Notre Dame, 42-14. It wasn’t as close as the final score suggests.

The champions held the Irish without a point until late in the third quarter and threatened to turn in a second straight national title game shutout.

No play encapsulated the suffocating defense and general dominance like HaHa Clinton-Dix’s spectacular, tip-drill interception.

It was one of the finer examples of legal thievery you’ll ever see.
