Help Me Decide Whose Halloween Costumes Were More Incredible: The Washington Capitals Or The OKC Thunder

Bros, bros, bros. Halloween is less than a week away so stop being complacent and apathetic about choosing a killer costume. Think of it as an investment for your penis. Chicks lower standards on Halloween and nothing gets a conversation started like perfectly executed get-up. Add on the fact that Halloween is on a Saturday this year so basically the only way you’re not going to get laid is if you dress up as a school shooter or something. Don’t be a dick.

So start getting the wheels turning. Take some inspiration from these pro athletes who have come up with and executed some excellent costumes for their respective team parties.

We’ll start with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Russell Westbrook dressed up as teammate Steven Adams, Kevin Durant went as Blue Streak‘s Miles Logan, Adams sported a Heath Ledger Joker costume (complete with poor posture), Mitch McGary rocked an Average Joe’s player from Dodgeball, and Steve Novak went traditional with Big Foot.

Ovechkin and his fiancee Nastya Shubskaya went as Batman and Catwoman. (Our own Jorge Alonso, who takes pleasure in trolling the shit out of D.C. sports superfan David Covucci, made me aware of Ovechkin’s bootleg Batman costume. Guy makes $10 million a year and can’t spring for the real deal. What the fuck’s that about, David?)  Evgeny Kuznetsov showed up as Harry Potter. T.J. Oshie and his wife Lauren went all in on their 101 Dalmatians costumes. Brooks Laich and Andre Burakovsky dressed as Woody and Buzz. Tom Wilson and Michael Latta blew the roof off with their couples Castaway costumes.

Знакомьтесь, наш новый член семьи-Блэйк)) Ну а у нас Halloween party✌🏼️

I gotta give it to the Caps. One reason. I’m a sucker for hot chicks.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
