Even The Harlem Globetrotters Can’t Mimic Steph Curry’s Pregame Dribbling Routine

Steph Curry’s dribbling routine and general showmanship during each pregame shoot-around is absurd and fascinating. The ritual this dude goes through is almost worth the price of admission alone. Yes, he’s that damn good.

Now, Steph even has the Harlem Globetrotters — masters of magician-like dribbling and unusual handles — attempting to mimic his pregame dribbling routine to the very best of their ability.

This is close. But it’s not enough. And when you really study it, Steph is almost doing it as form of relaxation, casually looking around the arena in the midst of the madness, while the dude from the Globetrotters is more or less fighting through it.

While it obviously takes an assload of practice to do such a thing, when guys like the Harlem Globetrotters — who base their entire game on impressive trickery and deception — struggle to keep up, you know your handles are on a level that just can’t be touched.
