  • Egg, vegetable, and abs frittata

An egg frittata is one of the most versatile breakfast dishes that exists in the entire world. You can dress it up with a ton of seasoning, veggies, and ingredients, or you can keep it simple with a few ingredients and really focus tastes that compliment each other.

The protein frittata is one that is simple, but fucking delicious, and guaranteed to help you build a badass body.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 4oz chicken breast
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup broccoli
  • Handful of spinach
  • 2 tablespoons of pico de gallo
  • Salt and pepper

Directions:

Throw the olive oil in a skillet, and turn the skillet on medium. Throw your chicken in, and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until cooked thoroughly.

After it’s done, throw in the broccoli and pico de gallo. You don’t want these veggies to get too done, so let them cook about 5 minutes max.

Throw the spinach on top, and gently mix it up until the spinach is wilted. Crack your eggs, and drop them on top. Cover the skillet until the eggs have hardened up to over medium, the only way to eat eggs, and then scoop onto a plate.

If you’re looking for extra flavor, blue cheese crumbles and hot sauce goes awesome on this.

  • Rise and Get Gains sandwich.

McDonald’s has a world class breakfast, but it’s not exactly great for you. This breakfast sandwich puts a new twist on an old classic, the Egg McMuffin.

Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat English muffin
  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice tomato
  • 4oz turkey breast
  • 1 slice American cheese

Directions:

This one is hard as fuck and takes a ton of time, so pay attention.

Throw the English muffin in a toaster. While it’s toasting, fry up an egg, and use the same skillet to warm the turkey breast a bit. Shouldn’t take more than 4-5 minutes. Get the English muffin, and place the turkey, the egg, the tomato, and the cheese inside. Then eat the fuck out of it.

  • Rooty tooty fresh n fruity – the smoothie

A protein smoothie is a quick and easy way to get a highly nutritious breakfast in that doesn’t add a ton of calories, but packs plenty of protein. A fruit and protein smoothie is the perfect breakfast cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops vanilla whey protein
  • 1 handful blueberries
  • 1 handful strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 8oz of water

Directions:

Throw the water and ice in a blender. Then add the blueberries, strawberries, and banana. Finally add the protein. Blend for about 15-20 seconds. If it hasn’t blended yet to a consistency that you like, blend more.

There’s a variation where you can use milk or add yogurt. These can help the consistency of the smoothie, but they also add extra calories, which takes away from the calories you can blow through at Happy Hour.

  • Gringos, gains, and tacos

I’m from Texas, and we do a few things really well in good ol’ Tejas. One of those is tacos of all varieties, but especially breakfast tacos. Breakfast tacos can be pretty high calorie if you’re not careful though, luckily this recipe isn’t.

Ingredients:

  • 2 small whole-wheat tortillas
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons pico de gallo
  • 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar

Directions:

Scramble up the egg and egg whites together to the consistency that you prefer. After you’re done, throw the tortillas into the same skillet to warm them up just a bit. Don’t worry about cooking them too long, just until they start to bubble a little bit.

Place half the egg scramble into one tortilla, and half in the other. Then split up the pico and cheddar evenly between the tacos, and voila. It’s a low calorie, high protein taste of Texas.

  • The cutest fucking breakfast cups ever

These require a bit of prep time, but if done right you can have breakfast all week with very little effort.

Ingredients:

  • Dozen eggs
  • 12 pieces bacon

Directions:

You’ll need a muffin tin for this. If you’re a bro who does some baking, you’ll have a muffin tin. If not, go buy one. One day it will come in handy when your girl wants to bake muffins at your place.

Line each muffin space with a piece of bacon. Go once around the edge, and then use the rest to line the bottom. Once you’ve done this, crack an egg into each little bacon basket.

Bake at 425 for about 20-30 minutes, or until the bacon and egg are both completely cooked through. Be cautious here. You don’t want to continue taking them out to find they aren’t done. Also be careful with how many you eat in a day. A piece of bacon and one egg aren’t too many calories, but after 4-5 you can find yourself making a pretty big dent in your daily calorie budget.

Breakfast doesn’t have to be hard, bros. With minimal time and effort you can eat like a king every morning.
