Hockey Player Goes Straight Up Marty McSorley On An Opponent’s Leg In Pregame Warmups

This is, without a doubt, one of the dirtiest plays you will ever see. Although you can’t even call it a play, because it wasn’t during a game.

No, this happened before. In warmups for a postseason game, Andre Deveaux, who plays in a lower-tier Swedish league, skated out, wound up his stick, and swung it right at Per Helmersson’s leg. I mean he WINDS up.

Somehow, he wasn’t given a penalty for that and was allowed to play in the game.

It was apparently because Deveaux was angry for a hit from the previous game. That is one way to let someone know. Although not exactly the best or nicest.
