The wild bounce dish assist came courtesy of No. 22 Brian von Bargen, and in the compromised position he was, No. 42 Josh Byrne had no choice but to go the tweener route for the filthy goal. Perfect execution.
Unfortunately, Byrne’s wicked through-the-legs effort wasn’t enough to get it done for the Pride on Saturday, as they fell to Georgetown 11-6 for their first loss of the season. The good news is the season is early, and Byrne, in his first year with Hofstra, seems to be shredding threads on the reg just four games into the 2016 campaign.
