Insane Bench-Clearing Brawl Breaks Out In Texas High School Football Game (VIDEO)

What the fuck is going on in high school sports? I’m not sure if the prevalence of phone cameras coupled with the faux internet outrage has only highlighted an issue that’s been around since the beginning of time, but fuck: assaulting referees, bench-clearing brawls, and even the dance teams are getting a bite at the apple.

The latest incident occurred between two Texas high school football rivals, Spring and Westfield.

According to KHOU,

It’s not clear what started the fight, but both benches cleared as players rushed onto the field.

“I looked away, I looked back, everybody’s running to each other, slamming, hitting, people were running on the field with no helmets on. I’m like they crazy, they crazy,” said Westfield student, Xavier Lovett.

Hundreds of fired-up kids spilled out of the stadium, many of them into the parking lot of a nearby Burger King, where fists began flying again.

Deputies with the Precinct 4 Constables’ Office say a group of 10 to 15 teenagers coming from the game, jumped and beat up two male students in the Burger King parking lot.

A female was caught in the fight; she was knocked over and someone stole her iPhone, according to police.

Deputies chased the guys involved in the parking lot fight, but couldn’t identify who was involved. There were no arrests and no serious injuries.

It sucks to say, but I’m sure that before the end of the season, this will be one of the least aggressive incidents. Just a matter of time before someone takes out the kid holding the first down markers.
