After yesterday’s gutsy win against the Timberwolves in overtime, Isaiah Thomas told the media that he wanted to stay in Cleveland and finish what he started despite having a rocky start to the season.

“I don’t [want to be traded],” Thomas said following Cleveland’s 140-138 overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. “I’m tired of being traded. That’s not a good thing, but I just want to be where I’m wanted. I like it here. It hasn’t been as planned, but I definitely want to be here. We definitely have a real chance to win an NBA championship, and I want to be a part of that.”

Unfortunately for Thomas, he was shipped off to the Lakers in a shocking deal early this morning.

After he was traded by Cleveland, Isaiah Thomas took to Instagram to show his love for his college team the Washington Huskies, who seem to be the only team that hasn’t betrayed him yet.

Considering how vocal Thomas has been for the past few weeks it wouldn’t be surprising to see him slam LeBron and the Cavs in the media in the next couple of weeks.
