Jacksonville Jaguars Twitter Asked Its Tortured Fans How Excited They Are For The Season. Big Mistake.

It’s been a decade since the Jacksonville Jaguars made a playoff appearance. Last year, they finished dead last in the AFC South, posting a 3-13 record including a 9-game losing streak that led to the termination of head coach Gus Bradley (14-48 through three seasons). With a new coach in Tom Coughlin and a beefed up defensive unit, the big question for the Jags will be what kind of Blake Bortles will they get this year: the 2015 Bortles who set single-season franchise records in passing yards and touchdown passes or the 2016 Bortles who threw 16 interceptions and displayed god awful mechanics.

But as Andy Dufresne said in Shawshank Redemption, “Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” Jaguars Twitter certainly abides by this mantra, as they made the mistake of asking their tortured fans how excited they are for #JagsCamp17. Here are the responses.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
