23-year-old Sixers big man Joel Embiid is a national treasure, and one several reasons why Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (and many others) believe the NBA is the sports league of the future. Not only is he one of the most talented players in the NBA, he is also one of the most entertaining and social media-friendly guys in the league.
Whether Embiid is trolling the Ball family, “feuding” with Hassan Whiteside, or calling out his friend for wanting to hook up with Kylie Jenner, he is one of few absolute must-follows on social media.
On Wednedsay night, Embiid showed why once again as after scoring 28 points while adding 12 rebounds and eight assists in a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, he posted a photo to Instagram with a not-so-subtle jab at Karl-Anthony Towns.
Towns didn’t actually have a bad night as he scored 19 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, but it wasn’t his offense that Embiid decided poke some fun at…
“Euro stepping our way through Minnesota and we ended up raising the cat last night #TheProcess,” Embiid captioned the photo.
Pretty solid trolling job there, right? Even threw in the “cat” reference, which was an obvious dig at KAT – Karl-Anthony Towns.
When Towns saw the post he decided to clap back, commenting on the post, “That caption was as trash as your picture quality.”
Annnd that’s when Embiid roasted him again, responding, “Better quality than your defense.”

If you think KAT is as good as Joel Embiid, I would suggest you put down the hallucinogens. It's about as close as Towns was to stopping Jojo on this Eurostep.
