Johnny Manziel’s Lawyer Offers Dumbest Solution To Assault Allegations, Might Be Drunker Than Johnny

Another day, another ridiculous couple of Johnny Manziel stories. After Manziel turned himself in and posted bail yesterday in his alleged assault case—and then tweeted a dumbass joke about his mugshot—JFF was seen smiling and in good spirits with his family, causing some to wonder what the fuck is wrong with the kid.

As messed up as things appear to be with Johnny, his attorney, Bob Hinton, might be even crazier, because he told reporters one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard as a solution to Manziel’s court case.

Seriously, dude? PLEASE tell me that this was just your way of some twisted humor, because it’s about as dumb as Johnny Manziel is in front of a camera phone.

The charges against Manziel are serious, listed below per USA Today, so the fact that his attorney is cracking jokes about “kissing and making up” is alarming—and makes me wonder if Hinton just cheated his way through law school.

His former girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, accused Manziel of striking her several times and said he threatened to kill Crowley and himself after the two left a Dallas bar on Jan. 30, according to an affidavit that was part of a protection order application. She also said in the affidavit that Manziel appeared as if he were “on some kind of drugs.”

“He hit me with his open hand on my left ear for jumping out of the car,” Crowley claimed in the affidavit. “I realized immediately that I could not hear out of that ear.”

Who knows how things will play out, but it’s clear that with each passing day, Johnny Manziel continues to sink into an abyss that may be too deep to ever climb out of. Kid needs help—and his attorney isn’t helping his cause with unprofessional moves like this.
