Johnny Manziel was reportedly spotted up in the club in Cleveland, ripping shots in celebration of Josh Gordon’s triumphant return to the Browns and the NFL.
He was seen leaving a nightclub after ripping some whiskey and was approached by TMZ reporters, later Johnny Manziel‘s reps reached out to PageSix to see if they were running a story and opened up about how much he hates the media covering his drinking, which kind of bums me out because that’s exactly what an alcoholic trying to hide his drinking would say:
But Manziel’s attorney didn’t seem concerned when contacted by Page Six: “If you are running a story on [his drinking], that’s pretty incredible,” he told us, adding, “That’s the dumbest story I think I have ever heard, but you all are certainly welcome to it.”
Apparently, the former Heisman winning QB turned full-time tabloid name with zero foreseeable prospects in the NFL doesn’t recognize that literally, the ONLY story about him is his drinking, because that’s why his life has fallen to shambles.
Something of note is just yesterday Johnny opened up about which team he’d like to try and make his NFL return to play for, and it’ll give you a good laugh if you haven’t already seen what he had to say.
TMZ even snagged footage of the beleaguered former college football star who has fallen off the wagon:
