Jonathan Toews Scored a Magnificent Goal at Snowy Soldier Field

The Chicago Blackhawks took apart the Pittsburgh Penguins last night at snowy Soldier Field in one of the more picturesque sporting events in recent memory. If you don’t believe me, check out some of the stunning photos.

Jonathan Toews, fresh off winning his second Olympic gold medal, turned in the most gorgeous on-ice moment when he skated around Brooks Orpik and beat Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.

It’s going to be a long time before these outdoor NHL games lose their luster, and that’s just fine with me. Keep them coming.
