Juju Smith-Schuster is probably going to get ejected after tonight’s Bengals-Steelers game. In the fourth quarter of the game, Smith-Schuster delivered a vicious blindside block on notorious Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict. After the hit, Smith-Schuster stood over Burfict to taunt him.
Burfict was unable to get up on his own accord and was forced to get carted off the field.
Smith-Schuster was somehow not ejected from the game for the hit but several people on Twitter are calling for him to get suspended.
The biggest problem for the NFL right now: there is ZERO accountability coming from the NFL officiating office. League needs to step up, buzz in and sling around some ejections on a consistent basis.

If Burfict had done that to JuJu they'd have thrown him in Guantanamo Bay

This was one of the ugliest, scariest games I’ve ever seen.

I love Juju and loathe the way Burfict plays but that was awful. You celebrate hitting a guy like that? Did he see what happened earlier in the game?

The fun story of JuJu and his bike has officially crashed…

Lost respect for Juju there. And why doesn’t the NFL allow reviews of personal fouls? In the NBA you can review and determine flagrant fouls and levels of flagrents. The fact Juju is still on the field is unreal.

Smith-Schuster should be immediately ejected but this the NFL and they really don't care about player safety. #MNF #PITvsCIN

Update: Smith-Schuster apologized for the hit and standing over Burfict after the play in a statement on Twitter.
I don’t have any intentions to hurt anyone when I play football. I didn’t mean to hurt Vontez Burfict, I just wanted to throw a block for my teammate. I apologize for standing over him and that isn’t me. Praying he gets better.
There’s no place for that hit in this league especially when Ryan Shazier left the game on a stretcher just an hour earlier. The league will probably come down hard on Smith-Schuster but hopefully we can move on from this ugly ugly game that saw two players get carted off the field.
