Karl-Anthony Towns Busted Out A Custom Pair Of ‘Friday The 13th’ Shoes For Halloween

In an ideal world, any team participating in a sporting event on Halloween would be required to dress up in a costume inspired by their mascot. Who wouldn’t want to watch members of the Toronto Raptors try to dribble down the court while dressed up in those inflatable dinosaur costumes? That right there is ratings gold.

Unfortunately, we’re still at least a couple of years away from making my dream a reality. Thankfully, there are players out there who manage to get into the holiday spirit while still adhering to the uniform code.

One of those players is Karl-Anthony Towns, who came onto the court last night rocking a custom pair of shoes that incorporated Jason from Friday the 13th and the Nike swoosh in the coolest way possible.

I wish I could say the Timberwolves went on to slaughter the Heat, but they only ended up winning by a score of 125-122, which makes it a lot harder to make a murder-related joke.
