Kentucky Hoops Fan Just Got The Easiest Raise Of Her Life After ESPN Showed Her On TV

Some people have to put in years of blood, sweat and tears to get a raise at work, but some Kentucky basketball fan earned one by simply getting on TV during tonight’s Wildcats game against Georgia. No joke.

Holding a sign that read, “My boss said if I get on TV he would give me a raise,” the girl—a freshman at UK named Meghan—was spotted by ESPN cameras and actually put on TV, presumably earning her a few extra bucks in her pocket come tomorrow when she clocks in.
After the chick got her face time, ESPN’s Shannon Spake headed to the nosebleeds to get the backstory.

Let this be a lesson to all you brown nosers out there, forget sucking up and kissing ass in the office, just make a glittery sign and go watch some sports, because you may just end up getting more on your paycheck because of it.

Here’s to hoping the girl’s boss, Steve, owns up to this. In the words of commentator Brad Nessler, “open up the wallet, bro.”
