While it’s important to remember for fans to keep their heads on a swivel during baseball games—you know, with fouls balls and, potentially, random bats flying through the air—one wouldn’t expect an NBA game would be somewhere that a spectator should fear for their life.
Oh, but those people wouldn’t have expected to see a shot as fucking ugly and absurd as Oklahoma City Thunder big man Enes Kanter’s.

Kanter grabbed an airball and flung the ball hundreds off feet away—even after the horn had sounded for the end of the quarter anyway—resulting in fans forced to take cover.
Sure, Kanter has a fucking cannon to be able to throw a basketball that far but, fuck, he was closer to a hoop in Tulsa than the one inside the arena in Oklahoma City—and teammate Kevin Durant made sure he knew how awful the attempt was, blatantly laughing in Enes’ face after witnessing that piss-poor effort.
