You’re Gonna Need To Hear Kobe’s Sex Tip On What It Takes To Have A Baby Boy

It’s story time with Kobe Bryant again! I’ve said it before, but all the Kobe tales making their way around are becoming the best part of his retirement tour. This time, the sparkling gem comes from reporter Eric Pincus, who has been covering the Lakers since 2003 and currently writes for the L.A. Times.

Pincus, a father of two girls at the time, had been discussing with Kobe that he and his wife were thinking about having a third child. And that’s when Kobe dropped this interesting sex tip.

“There was one thing, years ago, I had two girls and we were talking about how we were going to try to have a third. And, he told me that to have a boy, I need to keep my socks on with my wife … that was his advice. I did not listen, and I have a third girl.”

Again, in order to have a boy, you must keep your socks on during sex. But Pincus failed to listen and now he has three girls. I’m honestly surprised Kobe didn’t offer up a specific kind of sock or a particular color to wear in order to summon the boy.

It can’t hurt to try though, right? So if you’re trying to get your wife pregnant and really hoping for a baby boy, you might as well go with Kobe’s “sock trick” even though the only goal here was probably just to play mind games.

And, well, mission accomplished, because Pincus will never look at socks the same again.
