Kristaps Porzingis Has A Place In The City To Entertain ‘The Girls’ And His Go-To Movies Are As Diverse As His Game

Kristaps Porzingis is easily the most popular athlete in the world who still lives with his parents. And that’s not supposed to be a dig at the guy. He’s a 20-year-old Latvian rookie playing in New York City, so having his parents and older brothers around to help guide him through the overwhelming storm that is life as a pro athlete in Manhattan makes perfect sense.

With that said, though, what the hell does he do when it comes to the ladies? He can’t possibly bring them home to mom and dad in White Plains.

I mean you always gotta find a little bit of time for the girls, right? But there’s nothing serious really. Nothing too serious. I haven’t been that social yet, and I have been mostly focusing on basketball, but when I have a little more time I might to have to meet some new people … when I feel like it, I have a place in the city that I can escape to.

While the family support storyline is a wonderful thing, it’s nice to know we don’t have to pretend KP is some sweet, innocent soul still learning to put one foot in front of the other when it comes to living everyday life. The dude’s already wise beyond his years, securing a secret booty lair in Manhattan that he calls upon when KP needs a good calling, just like any other 20-year-old with a pair of balls would do to stay strong and survive.

But the best part of KP’s recent chat was probably his go-to movie rotation, which goes as follows: Friday, Dinner For Schmucks, and John Wick.

Hilarious. That rotation is about as diverse and baffling as his 3-point range, his Dream Shake, and his rim-crashing dunks.

This guy just keeps getting better.
