Over the past few years, Pepsi’s Uncle Drew commercials featuring Cleveland Cavs superstar Kyrie Irving have been some of the best in sports marketing. Another one just got released and, yep, it passes the test as a another epic spot.
Paying tribute to Irving’s cold-hearted three that helped earn the Cavs their first NBA title in franchise history, Uncle Drew reminds the “youngbloods” out there that “buckets aren’t given away. Buckets are earned.”
There are some dope athlete alter egos, and Irving as Uncle Drew is definitely towards the top of the list.
