Division II Football Team Wins First Game Of The Season In OT And Celebrates On Yeti Like They Won The Super Bowl

Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio only has an enrollment of 650 undergrads. The Storm play D-II football, yet arguably celebrated harder than the Ole Miss team after their first win of the season this past weekend. And what a win it was, too — 34-33 in overtime against Walsh University. Via:

The Storm got the ball first in the extra session. On their second play, Tilley scored from 22 yards out. Muzic converted the extra point, giving the Storm a seven point lead.

Similar to the Storm, Walsh scored on their second play, a 24-yard pass. The Cavaliers opted to go for the two point conversion and the win. However, their pass attempt fell short as the Storm hung on for the 34-33 overtime win.

Hell yeah. That’s a solid W. They posted videos of their raucous celebrations on the Yeti Campus app to share with their teammates. Love the coach doing the “Whip/Nae Nae.” Dude is Bro King of the year in my book.

This is why college athletics are awesome.
