Way To Go Leah! Devon Still’s 5-Year-Old Daughter Is Cancer-Free!

“”Devon Still had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Most of all, his daughter Leah was finally given some outstanding tidings after dealing with months of daunting news. Devon Still, the former Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle, announced on Instagram that 5-year-old Leah was cancer-free.

The caption read:

Thanks for all the support and prayers! Just got the phone call that her scans showed NED (no evidence of disease)! #LeahStrong #StillKickinCancersAss

Leah Still was diagnosed with stage-four neuroblastoma in June 2014, and was only given a 50-50 chance to live. In July, tests confirmed that her cancer was in remission, but it was still a scary situation.

Leah, who was honored at the ESPY’s and appeared on the Wheaties Cereal box, kept battling throughout the whole horrifying ordeal.

Meanwhile, papa Still is a free-agent after being waived by the Bengals in September. You may remember that Cincinnati kept him on their practice squad so that he could continue to receive medical insurance to pay for Leah’s treatment. Devon was eventually promoted to the active roster and recorded 19 tackles in 12 games.

Way to go Leah!
