LeBron James Goes Behind-The-Back And Through-The-Legs In A Career Top 10 Play

LeBron James

ESPN / YouTube

It’s LeBron James’ world and we’re just living in it. He proved that last night when he split two defenders by going behind the back and through the legs before dropping in a layup in the face of another defender. The amount of defense on him during this single play is unreal but LeBron James sliced through it like a hot knife cutting butter.

Unfortunately for LeBron and the rest of Believeland, this mind-bending play wasn’t enough for the Cavs to propel themselves over the Sixers. The Cavs eventually lost 108-97 but don’t let that overshadow this absolute wizardry. This play is so outrageous it should be turned into a nursery rhyme…“Around the back, and through the legs, to the net he goes”…Imagine being a rookie in the league and ever trying to defend this?

Here’s that play on YouTube if you’d rather watch it there than on Twitter:

LeBron sent out a tweet after the game for anyone questioning the play:

This is easily a Top 10 play of the NBA season even if you aren’t convinced that LeBron 100% meant to execute the play exactly as he did. Unfortunately, this play will still get overshadowed by James Harden’s soul-destroying play from earlier in the week.

Should we watch that one more time? Yes, we absolutely should.
