My dad shelved all his hopes and dreams when I was born to clean the shit out of my diapers. I really hope he enjoyed the wool socks I got him this year for Christmas for all his troubles. I’m sure he’s a proud dad.

Much like LaVar Ball. Lonzo Ball, who at 19 years old signed a four-year $33.4 million contract with the Lakers, has a little more cash to throw around for his father on Christmas. So, instead of gifting him $9.99 wool socks (3 pack), the Lakers rookie instead bought him a $350,000 Rolls Royce Dawn convertible.

Lonzo posted a video to Twitter early Tuesday morning, adding the hashtag #ItsTheLeastICouldDo.

As Yahoo! Sports points out, the Rolls works out to about three bi-weekly paychecks after taxes for Lonzo, who will make $6,286,560 this season.  The whip has 563 horse power and maxes out at 155 mph and goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds.

“A Big Baller Christmas…@zo always being there for the fam #familyalwaysmatters,” the Big Baller Brand wrote on social media. Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma commented on the posts, writing: “That’s rough.”

Rough. Something like that.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
