Michael Jordan was one of the recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Tuesday, given to him by President Barack Obama… who had way too much fun presenting it.
Obama even dropped a Space Jam reference on MJ…

And while making a speech doling out accolades for one of the greatest, if not the greatest, NBA players of all time Obama showed that not only does he know his basketball, he also knows his memes.
“MJ is more than just a logo. He’s more than just an internet meme…” joked Obama, much to the chagrin of a smiling (this time) Michael Jordan.
I believe that officially makes the circle of the internet now complete. It also highlights just one of the reasons we are so going to miss having Obama in the White House.
