If you think that the MLB’s spring training is just full of fun and games, well, maybe it’s because a whole lot of fun and games go on. Today, when the Detroit Tigers were taking on the Philadelphia Phillies, Miguel Cabrera decided to have some fun with the Phillie Phanatic mascot, stealing the keys to his little ATV that he rides around the stadium. He dangled them in front of the Phanatic, and then even tossed them over the dugout and into the crowd. The whole scene went on for about 15 minutes, and the Phanatic’s pleas to security to help him went unanswered:
Life’s not easy being a mascot.
