The Chicago Bulls are, in a word, bad. The team currently has a 2-7 record, and after sending Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves during the offseason, they lack any real marketable star on their roster— a fact that the Milwaukee Bucks are more than aware of.
The Bucks— who have a veritable superstar in the form of Giannis Antetokounmpo— recently launched an admittedly thirsty ticket promotion using other team’s players to draw in fans. The team is luring in potential spectators by allowing them to pick five games to attend based on the high-profile opponents who will be facing off against the Bucks.
Fans can choose to watch LeBron do his thing or be ultimately underwhelmed by Lonzo Ball, but the Bucks apparently couldn’t think of a single player on the Bulls roster who is capable of attracting fans.
It’s worth noting any Bucks fan looking forward to watching Benny the Bull do his thing will be sorely disappointed, as the mascot doesn’t travel with the team. The Bulls and Bucks will face off in a battle of mediocrity on December 15th.
