In the very same week the MMA world lost the wildly popular Kimbo Slice to heart failure at the age of 42, Former Bellator MMA and Legacy Fighting Championship fighter Ivan Cole has reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound while playing Russian Roulette at his Dallas apartment on Saturday.
Cole’s wife Kimberly started a GoFundMe page to pay for funeral expenses accompanied with the below note:
‘Today I lost my husband to gun play. He made a bad decision that cost him his life. If you could donate anything I would really appreciate it. He leaves behind a wife and a four-year-old daughter. I have to pay for funeral expenses, bills, and be able to take care of myself and our daughter.’
Cole’s lifetime MMA record was 2-3. He was 25.
