The Trailer For ‘NBA 2K16’s’ Career Mode Might Make You Think You’re The Next LeBron

I’m not a huge gamer or anything, but, as someone who’s just about as obsessed with sports as anyone you’ll ever meet, when a sports game releases an epic trailer, I can’t help but get a little bit stoked over it.

After NBA 2K15 gave users an updated and in-depth MyCareer Mode—where a player goes from unknown to hopeful legend—this year’s NBA 2K16 goes even deeper, releasing this video that will make you think the story is actually about your journey to NBA superstar.

Using director Spike Lee’s creativity, MyCareer looks like an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary that talks about the struggle to the Association—and it’s getting me even more pumped up for the September 29th release of NBA 2K16.

The hoops video game might not be as much of a cult phenomenon as Madden is, but this trailer proves that it’s going to be just as dope.
