Nick Saban’s Daughter Hated His Dinosaur Dance, But Coach Claims He Really Does ‘Have Some Moves’

With no college football until next Monday’s national title game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Clemson Tigers, there hasn’t been a whole lot of shit to talk about—so everyone’s still critiquing Bama head coach Nick Saban’s dinosaur dance after his team’s dominant win over Michigan State in the College Football Semifinals.

Saban, who is normally the most dull coach on the planet not name Bill Belichick and is normally reserved, was caught smiling, laughing and actually having a good time with his team by busting this little dance out on the podium during the Cotton Bowl trophy presentation.

Everyone seemed to have enjoyed it, except Saban’s daughter Kristen.

According to AL.com, here’s what Saban had to say about his offspring’s reaction to her old man dancing like, well, an old fucking man:

“I really didn’t want to dance,” a smiling Saban said. “I really do have some moves. I didn’t want to let them all out. I really was criticized pretty harshly by Kristen, who has seen me dance before and knows I can be better. She thought my effort was not real good.”

You can’t help but love that Lord Saban defended himself by saying he really does, “have some moves.” Classic line by a dad who can’t dance.

Of course, there’s that video of the Bama coach doing the Electric Slide in 2014, so you be the judge on his boogying skills.

Biggest game of his team’s season and he’s answering questions about a fucking dino dance, I’m sure he’s thrilled with that.
