One of the best parts of the Selection Show is watching bubble teams learn their fate. After a season of hard work and mixed success, they sit on the edge of their seats waiting to find out if they’ll be a part of the Big Dance.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack found themselves in that situation last night. When they discovered that they had received an invitation to the greatest tournament in sports, they unleashed a delightful celebration.
After the full brackets were announced, we learned N.C. State was the last at-large selection, so they had a reason to feel relieved.
God, I’ve never been that excited about anything.
