One of the toughest assignments a player in the NFL today can be given is the task of covering Odell Beckham Jr. It doesn’t matter how prepared you think you are— when you line up against ODB, all bets are off. It’s only a matter of time before he manages to make a catch that makes you question whether or not the guy you’re covering is actually a human being. When you consider the number of crazy plays the wide receiver has been involved in over the course of his career, it’s enough to make you wonder.

Beckham has a long history of making the kind of catches that were traditionally reserved for Madden glitches. He continued to show off his skills at Giants training camp on Monday by making an incredible one-handed grab over the back of a defender, amazing everyone in attendance in the process.

Based on his track record, it’s not even safe to say that this is the best catch that ODB will make this season— which is really saying something.

We’re looking forward to another long season of Beckham making his opponents feel bad about themselves.
