Its no secret that Olympic village bones like a freshman dorm. Back in 2016 in Rio, former U.S. soccer goalie- Hope Solo speculated that “70 percent to 75 percent of Olympians” were slapping skins in the village, some in plain site of others.

The International Olympic Committee responded by distributing 450,000 condoms to its 10,500 athletes, three times more than for the London Games four years prior. That works out to 42 condoms per athlete, allowing for allows for 84 sex sessions in 17 days. They also dished out 175,000 packets of lube.

The Pyeongchang Winter Olympics is on slightly smaller scale (around 6,200 athletes), but that doesn’t mean their intentions are any more pure. News broke this week that Olympic organizers are handing out a record number of condoms ahead of Friday’s Opening Ceremony.

The vessel some of the best athletes in the world will use to meet each other is the same one us common men and women use: Tinder.

The Instagram account @tinderpyeongchang is aggregating all the athletes spotted on Tinder while in South Korea. The account has posted over 40 athletes at the time of me writing this.

The majority of the athletes (around 3,500) will be housed in Alpensia, with the remaining 2,700 athletes staying at Gangneung, according to Kyodo News.

I don’t typically get to investigate dudes’ Tinder profiles, so lets see where I stack up.

Helmet in a pic? Not what I would have went for, but by all means.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
