Roger Goodell was noticeably absent from tonight’s NFL season opener between the New England Patriots and The Pittsburgh Steelers. Goodell said he decided to pass on attending tonight’s game because he didn’t want the night to be about him and Patriots QB Tom Brady which is of course total BS.
The reality is Roger probably didn’t want to attend the game because the New England crowd would have crushed him. Listen to how loud this “Where is Roger” chant is and just imagine how loud it would have been if Goodell was in attendance.
