Jimmy Fallon broadcast The Tonight Show from the Super Bowl so he was able to procure an interview with players from the New England Patriots that had just won Super Bowl XLIX hours earlier.
Danny Amendola, Brandon LaFell and LeGarrette Blount delayed their victory celebrations and were all on The Tonight Show. Also on the late night talk show was Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart.
Ferrell is a Seattle Seahawks fan, who must have turned off the Super Bowl after the third quarter because he was wearing a Seahawks sweatshirt. Actually Ferrell said he didn’t watch the Super Bowl because he’s “all about the Pro Bowl.”
Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola said that Bill Belichick gave him strict orders to give Ferrell a fashion tip. The world champion gave the Get Hard star a Belichick makeover and cut off the sleeves of his Seahawks sweatshirt. As if the gut-wrenching 14 unanswered points in the comeback win by the Patriots wasn’t enough torture for the Seahakws fan.
Sorry Will, but nobody rocks the sleeveless hoodie better than Belichick.
