And as a resident of Philadelphia, it totally behooves me to say it, but this is the most magisterial thing our collective sports teams have produced in years. Save that 2008 World Series, because that still stands as the highlight of my 27 years of life, but yeah, this power hour is just incredible.
Nothing better than drinking beer time and time again when Chase Utley shouts “WORLD FUCKING CHAMPIONS!” Not to mention, but the clips assembled in this phenomenal power hour are all amazing in and of themselves. Flyers, Sixers, Eagles, Phillies, ROCKY! Can’t do better than that. Like, it could easily be a standalone Philly sports highlight reel, but making it a power hour just turns it up, I don’t know, like a billion notches.
Don’t care if your a Philly fan or not, if you can’t enjoy, or at least respect this, then you hate sports. A+ work by @MikeCloran, the devoted Philly fan who made this amazing piece of art.
Safe to say I’ll use it many a time on the inevitable heels of crushing defeat.
