Ravens left tackle Eugene Monroe has been a strong proponent of medical marijuana as an alternative to prescription pain killers. After news came out that Prince died just a few days after OD’ing on percocet to treat a hip injury, Monroe went off on the NFL and it’s archaic policies to not allow players to treat their injuries with medical marijuana.

The news of Prince's death was sad enough. Let alone hearing he potentially had an episode with opioids just a week prior
