Reggie Bush Implicated In Darren Sharper Case, Allegedly Spiked Drinks With Molly In Las Vegas Club

So we already know that former NFL safety Darren Sharper is basically a horrible scumbag — he has been charged with rape numerous times in multiple states — but today another notable name was brought up in connection with Sharper’s Las Vegas activities: current Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush. A co-defendant in the case, ex-deputy Brandon Licciardi, who has been charged with helping Sharper drug women to prepare them for rape, went on record in December recalling seeing Reggie Bush put Molly in champagne in a Las Vegas club (although he does deny any knowledge of rape). Per The Advocate:

“OK, um, I was in Vegas about three years ago and um, Reggie Bush put Molly in Champagne. He was handing out Molly on the dance floor to girls. Handing it out. Like giving it to them,” Licciardi said.

“And how do you know that?” asked James O’Hern, an investigator for the DA’s Office.

“ ’Cause I saw it with my own eyes,” Licciardi responded.

However, Licciardi did remember the incident a little differently when he was questioned further:

“Reggie, yeah. No, I didn’t see him put it in the drink. He told me. And he said he was handing it to people, in Vegas,” Licciardi said, adding, “He asked me if I wanted some. And I was like, ‘I don’t do that stuff.’”

It was unclear from the interview whether Licciardi believed the women at the Las Vegas club were aware the drug was being dropped in their drinks.

It’s safe to say that Bush will be under further investigation to see if there is any truth to these claims. It also should be noted that Bush adamantly denies these allegations, and his lawyer released a statement today:

“This is outrageous. I can say to you on the record that Reggie adamantly, vehemently and unequivocally denies all of the statements in that article.  We are demanding a retraction from the Advocate and Reggie is considering taking legal action.”

Reggie also came to his own defense:
