According to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, currently suspended Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain has gained forty pounds after abusing the recreational drug called, “purple drank”, which is a combination of Sprite and codeine (found in cough syrup).
“Purple drank” can lead to rapid weight gain, which is what Cole says happened to McClain.
Cole was told by a source that McClain is “incredibly out of shape” after the weight gain and believes that it is “almost impossible” that the Cowboys linebacker will ever play for the team again.
