Roughing the kicker doesn’t get more obvious than when Richard Sherman jumped offsides and dove into Dan Carpenter’s knees before halftime of tonight’s Monday Night game.
Of course refs screwed this up and didn’t call a 15-yard penalty roughing the kicker penalty on Sherman which led to Buffalo missing a 54-yard field goal.
NFL senior vp of officiating Dean Blandino admitted that the refs on the field missed the call.
At the end of the half in #BUFvsSEA its unnecessary roughness for hitting the kicker. Foul means he can stay in the game.
