Rickie Fowler And Justin Thomas Show How Absolutely F*cking Difficult The 2016 U.S. Open Course Is

This year’s U.S. Open is set to tee off this week from Oakmont Country Club just outside of Pittsburgh. And while the course will be hosting its sixth Open since 1962, that doesn’t mean that the place has gotten and easier—and these videos from Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas prove that.

First, Thomas shared this video on his Instagram of how thick the rough is, with the shit swallowing up his ball after dropping it.

And as if that wasn’t difficult enough, if a player is lucky to get on the green in regulation, just look at how incredibly fast those are, as Fowler dropped this video on Snapchat, reposted by Golf Digest, making the greens appear to be as fast as fucking concrete!

They’ve always said that the U.S. Open is the most grueling of the majors on the PGA Tour, and if there was any doubt, Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas just silenced those with these videos. My goodness.
