Roger Goodell Is Allegedly Using Virtual Reality To Learn About Empathy So Yes, He’s Probably A Psychopath

Come on. Tell me that doesn’t look like the face of someone who doesn’t understand how the human psyche works. He looks like the kind of guy who would split your skull and eat your brain in an attempt to begin to learn about feelings. “Man, that couple looks happy. I bet if I kidnap them, cut their hearts out and examine them, I may learn about love.” The guy looks way too much like Hannibal Lecter for me not to fear him.

This fact is further proved to me by the latest edition of the podcast Too Embarrassed To Ask. During this episode, Lauren Goode and Mark Bergen discuss how VR is being used to teach empathy with Stanford professor Jeremy Bailenson. And, at the 25 minute mark, guess who they say is using it? Yep, Goodell.

I feel like this literally proves it. The guy belongs in a looney bin. Especially because people always say that the most successful people in the world are socio-/psychopaths because they don’t care about other people. Goodell’s out here possibly murdering hookers and we’re allowing him to run a company that owns three nights of the week and an entire day. Who’s to say what else he does? I think the only real way to regulate this would be to watch what else he uses VR for. Mostly because people don’t use VR for things that they know how to do. So, if he keeps looking up ‘smiling’ or ‘not killing people’ instead of ‘being a murderer’ or ‘eating people’s flesh’, we know that we probably have a problem.
