Russell Wilson Chokes Away Super Bowl With Game-Losing Interception On The Goal-Line

Russell Wilson is going to be haunted by tonight for the rest of the life. On the biggest stage in sports, Wilson had the chance to win the Super Bowl in the final minute as the Seattle Seahawks advanced to the New England goal-line, trailing 28-24. Instead of coming up clutch, however, Wilson’s pass intended for Ricardo Lockette was intercepted by Patriots DB Malcolm Butler, essentially sealing the game. The Patriots managed to avoid a safety and went on to win, 28-24.

Of course, Pete Carroll is potentially an even bigger goat for this, considering that he opted not to hand the ball off to Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch ON THE FREAKING GOAL-LINE. But hey, whatever floats your boat. Really, this was an absolute heartbreaker for Seahawks fans everywhere, as it appeared that they might be able to deny the Deflatriots another Super Bowl win. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.
