We all long for that perfectly timed selfie—and Hall of Fame tight end and CBS analyst Shannon Sharpe may have just captured it.
Sitting at the debate desk across from Skip Bayless on ESPN’s First Take today, Sharpe and Bayless argued on and on about a typical topic that gets Bayless red in the face. Rather than hear ol’ Skippy out, though, Sharpe took out his phone and snapped a selfie right in front of Bayless.
The two were discussing a photo that a San Antonio Spurs player posted on social media which showed the team dressed in costumes and having fun just days after their season ended. Rather than hear out Bayless, Sharpe put the debate to rest with the pic.
Of course, the Internet approved.

Shannon Sharpe should be on @ESPnFirstTakeHD full time. I think he replace skip when he leaves. Entertaining as hell

With Skip Bayless set to depart ESPN for FOX Sports soon, maybe Shannon Sharpe can step in and fill the void? With stunts like this, First Take will definitely be more entertaining—and a hell of a lot less annoying to listen to.
